5 Songs That Should Be Part Of Every Setlist

I recently downloaded the PJStatTracker app -- what an amazing app!  Kudos to the people who worked on it and brought it to life -- well done!  Anyhoo, after entering my show stats, surprise, surprise (not), Even Flow and Betterman were tied for the song I've seen the most in concert.

What did surprise me was how few times I have heard certain songs.  For example, I've only heard Fatal ONE TIME in the 50+ shows I've had the fortune to see.  That started me thinking...if somehow I was given the ability to choose, what songs would I include in each and every concert I attend?  These are my five...

1. Porch...everytime I hear that opening guitar, my body literally jumps for joy.
2. Corduroy...exactly the same as above.

Luckily those two are quite common, but the next three not so much...

3. Long Road...the perfect opener imo.
4. Faithfull...this is such a hauntingly beautiful song, it truly is a furry thing.

My last pick doesn't get played often, and probably isn't on a lot of people's lists of essential Pearl Jam, but in my opinion it is a masterpiece, a lyrical poem that means so much to me.  The one time I got to hear it was magical.  I am of course referring to...

5. Parachutes

What are your five?
I would've fallen from the sky, till you...

If they are playing two nights at the same venue, none of them. They have enough classic tunes that they don't have to repeat any of them. Otherwise: Corduroy, Alive, Given To Fly, RVM, and Better Man/Black. No need to add classic songs like Last Exit or Hail Hail to this list as then everyone would get sick of them. What makes them special is that they don't get played every night!
