Ticket transfer

I was about to transfer a ticket to a friend for the show on the 4th and got a bit spooked.  I already have one downloaded in to my phone.  When i went to transfer now, the one listed to transfer is the same seat number as the one saved to my phone.  Have others seen this before?  I transferred a ticket at Chicago and didn't notice this at all.  Should I be worried about that?

Also---this whole "you don't have to transfer to a guest if they are with you"---does that actually work out?  That seems like a hassle for your friend.

Any advice?

    I think I downloaded my transferrable ticket on accident.  Can I remove it from my phone, send to someone else, and download the other?

    Yes only the first ticket scanned will work. So you can transfer it and he can download it with no problem
