I just did a quick google search about mass shootings and race. This argument about the overwhelming number being white didn’t seem right to me as I can think of several off the top of my head that weren’t (Florida night club, San Bernardino, Virginia Tech are some of the more famous shootings and they were not white, and probably a lot more of I read up on it).
The first 3 results all claimed whites are responsible for about 60% of mass shootings. Which sounds like what percentage of the population is white.
It doesn’t seem like this is a white problem like many are trying to make it out to be. This was the first result that came up, I’m sure some with have issues with the source since it doesn’t agree with them, but the next 3 results all agreed with this finding as well.
