This was a fantastic exhibit - well done to all involved.  Really like some of the original art for some of the posters over the years.

I really loved it. So glad I got to do it while being here. Great job.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
  • How long of a duration of time would you recommend to carve out enough time for this exhibit?

It's great! Depending on how much you want to browse, you can go through it quickly... but lots of good stuff to keep you around (even if you saw the museum at PJ20). Large space, smaller crowd makes it easy to move around. Nirvana exhibit was nice to, but nowhere near this level of love.

This was a nice surprise - archive of all show setlists and ticket stubs.

I'd recommend 30-45 minutes, but it could take a little longer depending on your own pace. There are over 500 artifacts total, so it depends on how much you want to analyze everything.

    I have a few questions:

Is there any description of the Andy Wood statue? There are so many little things in it and I would love to know the artist’s vision.

Also, what will happen to the message boards?

I'll have to check with the curator about that because I'm not exactly sure. As for the statue, I know it was commissioned by Jeff but I'm not sure as far as the artist's vision. I'm off for a few days, but I'll see what I can find out for you.

This rolling stone article gives a little insight: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/inside-pearl-jam-seattle-exhibit-jeff-ament-708104/

I know you already got the answer to the first question from the Rolling Stone article that was posted, but I asked the curator about the message boards. When the time comes for the exhibition to end, he is going to offer them to the band to see if they want them for the archive. If for some reason they decide not to take them, we'll keep them for storage. Let me know if I can help with anything else!
