As a neutral observer, I like the Klausen the most.  Seems like the coolest keepsake from the show.  Love the ticket theme.
Totally agree, although the Ames is a close second for me. As a baseball dork, that poster incorporates a "Mariners" theme more than any other item.

I like that one, but the humongous yellow beard and the sandals throw it off for me.  It doesn't seem like something I could get a permission slip from my co-habitants (family) to frame and hang.  I do bet that in person it looks really sharp.

I think the Emek is amazing too...  but I kind of favor when the artist gives a nod to the sport/venue for the ballpark events.

    And SHuss...... come on, man.

agree that ames is close.  wife likes the BK better so we'll hang that one since she tolerates all this shit on the walls!

I just came from there at around 10. I had to leave because I would only have an hour to burn before I head out to work at 1. It didn't appear there was any way I would be able to get in and out in that timeframe. It looks busier than what was described yesterday at similar times. I'm not great with estimating numbers though. It sounds like going in the afternoon is the best bet.

Also, it's $10 to park at the Safeco garage. The guy told me the pass is good until the merch tent closes so if you didn't like the look of the line and wanted to go grab a beer or something to eat and head back later you don't have to worry about your parking expiring.

At the risk of being wrong, I'm getting the feeling that PJ management has recognized the demand for their stuff and adjusted their supply accordingly. They might even be printing posters as we speak (has there been a definitive number detailing the print run?).

Some people freaked out and bought stuff on Ebay the first day thinking prices were going to soar; however, I feel that the opposite is going to happen (and it's already showing with recent sales). As mentioned on this forum, everybody is getting what they want.

Outside of the delay they might experience waiting for some doosh to pick out all their items to resell... people don't need to get upset with the gomers buying $2000 worth of stuff because they might end up having the last laugh.

Given the supply is not as limited, those 'respected flippers' are not going to see the lucrative profit they likely envisioned when they initially chose to make dickheads of themselves. Their posters and stuff will still sell, but not anywhere near the high prices we've seen in the past and not for such a price to overcome the loss of their dignity.
    Well said Professor.

I got in line at 11am and left with merch at 1:30pm.  2.5 hrs for me.

Line is nuts but moving decently. 40 mins to do 3 of the outside turnbacks. I'd guess 1.5 hours from start to tent entrance.

Yikes! I saw the line as I was leaving work this afternoon, and I kept driving. Glad I did after what I just read! I'll just wait and get it tomorrow before the show.

I was in and out in 2 hours flat. In at 11:51am and out at 1:51pm. Everything was available at that point. Decent movement but with how damn big the tent is I thought it would move faster. All and all not bad.

My guess is that they close the line to new people at 7pm.  To be honest I doubt you'll have time to get to Safeco by 7pm if you land at 6:30.

I was in the area and stopped for lunch and the line never got shorter in the few hours I was there and checking on the line.  I can't handle standing in 90 degree weather for hours on end especially when all I really want is one poster.  I don't care or need anything else so two hours standing in line is not a great use of my time and I think the lines will start getting longer now that we're so close to the shows since everybody from out of town will be landing and wanting to get their merch.

Better to try tomorrow. You won’t get from the airport to safeco in less than 30 minutes. Good luck.

I think it's fair to keep a thread open for real time updates on wait times, considering the ranges have been 20 minutes to 3+ hours. But Mods feel free to delete as needed.

So with putting aside what you bought and why and what others bought and why.....how long are people waiting today?

We were in line for about an hour or so on Sunday, late afternoon. That wasn't so bad, considering that we were behind a lot of Blue Jays fans who had just left the stadium. The tent was very hot, but servers were quick and efficient.

Thank you for this info.  I am on the Lite Rail now from SeaTac and was going to drag my luggage with me over there to try my luck.  Saves me wasting my time and now I can just go to the hotel and meet a friend.  See everyone tomorrow in what I can only imagine is going to be a long line.  And special shout out to Southwest Airlines for delaying my flight by 4 hours, making me miss the Pop Up Tent today.

Got there at 2 pm, it took me 2:30 hours. The 2 t-shirts and the poster I wanted to buy were sold out.... people were buying like 20 posters each. I wish they would limit the qty.

I did my time in the line today and they only had the Faile and Emek posters left. If anyone here is going Wednesday and is able to pick up the other three for me, I can meet you before the show tomorrow night and will pay for yours and mine. Today was my one shot and I’d much rather buy for someone else here than pay a flipper. Just PM me if you can help. Thanks.

I asked the guy at checkout about that and he said that they would be restocked with all posters tomorrow.
  • What is the etiquette for getting in the merch line by 9 a.m. I am heading over but don't want to contribute to any MERCH angst people are having - is there an orderly way to queue before 9 a.m.?

I think people were lining up across the street on merch day 1 and just stayed in line and walked over once the gates opened.
