We should be able to both praise the posters that are great and criticize the ones we don't like.  Regardless, if I made a poster it would absolutely suck.

Because they might as well be Kiss now with all the focus on merch and not music.   It was fun getting a sticker and a poster, but now you have to stand in line three hours at a mall to get it.  7 days of merch.  Absolutely ridiculous.

Saying something sucks is not the same as being critical of a piece of art.

Briefly saw this on FB. Really thought someone made a fake poster to fuck with people. Then I came here. It's like having a bad dream and waking up to realize it is not a dream.

I had this same thought. I absolutely loathe Kiss and it saddens me to see what merch has become. It’s bigger than the show

People like to say that all the time, but I just dont think its true that its bigger than the show.

I couldn't give a crap about what the merchandise looks like really. I am so influenced by them that I'd probably buy anything if their name was on it. However, those that don't want it, don't have to buy anything. I really liked the stuff that they had when I saw them in Madrid last month.

    Really like Brad's work.

I don't get Shuss - he's a fan of stencil art so why wasn't he able to incorporate something appealing with that approach and translated it onto a poster?

If anyone is feeling overly generous I would love one of the bright green shirts men’s large. I’ll be happy to PayPal the $ and pay for shipping. Can’t make a show this year.

Yes. When they start releasing caskets and toilet seats then we talk.

Also, thanks PJ for finally making a dad hat. Love the simplicity and the design. Can't wait to get one at Wrigley.

BK posters continue to rock. I framed these for three friends after a reunion at Wrigley 2016, and I want to do it again.

I agree, but they do seem to be starting to head that route.

The klausen poster is nice. Probably the best with the faile right behind. The klausen reminds me of a pissed off batter who just got rung up with a strikeout on an awful call. Lol

The merch haters are getting just as bad as the merch  obsessed.  If you don't like it, then don't buy it  Pretty simple.

And yeah, it's frustrating that they haven't put out an album in 5 years.  I get that.  But who really cares if they sell a lot of merchandise?  Does that really affect the way you feel about a band?  I don't like Kiss because I think they make shitty music.  Not because they will put their name on literally anything and sell it.  That's their business.
