Not a fan of Rolling Stone, but their best albums of the 90's is decent. Only a few in Top 20 I'd throw out. Ten makes #6...

Dude, Liz Phair was my favorite female artist of the 90s. I had the worst crush on her and Darcy from the Pumpkins. She unlike poor Darcy is still a sex symbol for us Gen Xers. And I know how that sounds but it is me channeling my 15 yr old selfHesCalledDyer said:So I'm sitting here watching the Joe Rogan Experience episode with Liz Phair, which aired in April of this year. Holy fuck is Liz still sexy as hell!! That woman is 51 years old and looks 30 tops.livefootsteps.org/user/?usr=446

This is my fave band ever. They changed the musical landscape for people who heard them. Unfortunately not enough people did.

Haha, no I totally get it. Liz and Kay Hanley were my two main 90’s music crushes. Still find them both extremely attractive! Honestly if I never knew who Liz Phair was and I watched that podcast today and saw her for the first time ever, I’d guess 28-30. She had to have found the fountain of youth.lolobugg said:

This is exactly why I can't stand RS for the most part. Vs. defined the sound of 90's rock, though apparently PJ only get 1 album (Ten) on their precious countdown. That's why RS is becoming more irrelevant by the day...rummy said:

"Watch out for music. It should come with a health warning. It can be dangerous. It can make you feel so alive, so connected to the people around you, and connected to what you really are inside. And it can make you think that the world should, and could, be a much better place. And just occasionally, it can make you very, very happy." -Peter Gabriel0 -

Any top 100 of the 90's should easily contain their first 3 albums, even though they aren't my favorites anymore. They defined the 90 - 95 era of rock.rummy said:

Been some nice discussion about Liz Phair, but don't forget about Heather Nova. Can't believe 1998 was 20 years ago!
