Not really a fan of this mobile set up.  I feel like going forward after these shows if it the system stays as it is today there will be too many ways to abuse the system with out even having any intention to be at the show.

Indeed. At least the old system forced someone to travel. This way, all someone needs to do is screenshot.

Plus, the old way gave you a nice souvenir or two.
There are easy ways to make screenshots NOT work. I'm sure they will do that next time if they haven't already. Instructions say they won't work this time, but who knows.
The biggest problem I have is it appears that someone can put in for lets say 10 legitimate accounts with real names/people right now. They can then put in for as many GA as they can with those 10 not caring if they intend to go or not. They can then just flip the transferable tickets on each account for a ridiculous amount of money and not care about the loss on their non transferable. They can do this from their computer at home with no intention of every seeing a show or even liking Pearl Jam. This is not even to mention that it appears that there are ways I will not mention here that allow you to let others use your non transferable.

Yes in the past their were ways that you could flip tickets  but besides the MSG shows in 2016 you had to actually go to the venue limiting you to that show at least or those in the surrounding area. No set up is perfect but now that we know how this is run I hope they fix the loopholes that appear to be available in the future if this is the method they choose to use.
If that's actually a big problem.... geez, the only fix I can think of for that, and to still not allow people to scalp day of show, is to not allow transfers at all. And make the mobile tickets live so you can't screenshot. This would anger some fans of course (what doesn't?), but it would certainly also shut down the reselling pretty well.

Agreed. Although they might not even be a member or even have tickets. Lots of speculative selling takes place on third party sites. Keep that in mind.

I do not think it is a big problem now since people did not know the set up exactly before the lottery was started. Going forward I can see it being a problem. That said I have no clue what 10 club does when they see a for sure 10 club ticket on an aftermarket site for an above face price. Maybe they have this on lockdown. I hope so. Just would hate to see an influx of members for the sole reason of getting GA and flipping them.

The (now) ex-husband of a coworker of mine was booted from the 10C for doing this with his Wrigley tickets last time around.

Apparently he wasn’t using the same email or anything, so they definitely have their ways.

You could by a burner phone for nothing basically, sell the person your phone, not the tickets (doesn't violate 10 club if worded correctly) then they have both tickets and walk in with the phone.

I feel like members are much more of a problem than a flood of "pro" scalpers at this point.  We are an adaptable bunch, very fanatic, and obsess a lot more about the rules and ways to leverage them in our favor.  There is an underbelly of the fan club that obtains things like posters, only to flip them for like 150% of their max value via un-taxed for-profit "raffles".  Also people who were leveraging the previous lottery system to virtually fuel entire tour-legs in GA and/or premium seating.  I am sure there is a further under-belly that is selling tickets for more than face.

This move to electronic ticketing was no doubt a move to combat/limit that behavior, while maintaining the successful method of ticket distribution.  However, IMO, this method is going to fall short.  It seems it will not make a difference.  People will feel out the weaknesses, how to gain entry, and next time there is a tour, we will be back to square one with people over-buying tickets, spamming the lottery pools for GA seats with shitty 10c numbers, and later trading (or selling) "extra pairs".

I like the idea someone said awhile back that they should combine GA and Reserved into 1 pool of "tickets", with a choice of "GA/Reserved" or "Reserved only". and randomly choose out of who gets selected for GA.  Would prefer people find out the day of the show when they pick up tickets.  Perhaps make them available a day or 2 before so people can plan.

They also need to neaten up the GA entry process before there is an ugly scene or someone gets killed sleeping on the city streets.  Take away the incentive of whoever waits the longest gets rail.  It has become an arms race that has spiraled out of control.

Here are just a few examples.

    https://pearljam.com/ten-club/event/ten-club-mobile-home-away-tickets-now-available
Ten Club tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable. Only one ticket in each pair is transferable. No exceptions.

    https://pearljam.com/ten-club/event/pearl-jam-home-and-away-ticket-pre-sale
    - Members may not purchase a pair of tickets with the intentions of giving both away or reselling a ticket pair. The fan club member whose name was drawn for the tickets is expected to attend. No exceptions.

    - The Ten Club member whose account was used to purchase the tickets is the ticket holder. You may not purchase a pair of tickets with the intentions of giving away or reselling both tickets. No exceptions.

If we determine a membership has been purchased for the sole purpose of purchasing and reselling tickets, Ten Club reserves the right to cancel the ticket order and membership without refund.
