Saw him some months ago and he will be back in town next weekend.. This dude is incredible. The Cds he recorded are so good, but still far from the level of goodness he can give you during a live concert.
Long live to Xavier Rudd...

amazing artist....seeing him tonight cannot wait"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini (or diet coke) in the other hand, body thoroughly used up, worn out and tired..."0

i love xavier rudd, i have seen him a couple of time at the blues festival in byron bay and he is sensational. he is so under rated.0

I've been lucky to see him 3 times this year....West Hollywood, Boston and New York. Every show...dynamic.
I wish him so much success but at the same time I love him at the level that you can still see him in the small club venue like you do now. I almost don't want to lose that."I'm here to see Pearl Jam."- Bono

i am falling in love with Xavier Rudd, i been listening to one of his albums a lot food in the belly, and i must say he is brilliant, he is the most amazing new talent i've heard in a long time, of course i started to get into him like 2 weeks after he toured, well hopefully he will be back soon, and i hear he's a mad Didgeridoo player0

I love Xavier Rudd. Solace is still such a great record.
“Green Spandex” is always guaranteed to bring me to tears though...
https://youtu.be/EZzXmt7xs84
I guess this is the rushed goodbye
That I thought would never come
The woman who lit the light
For a family in the dark
Starring at the mirror
I see your smile through my own
Your spark embedded deep inside
Will give me strength
Will give us hope
And I'll never lose your touch
No I'll never lose touch
This will take me a while
Because I miss your smile
I guess I new your time would come
But for now I miss your smile
It's gonna take me a while
Thank you for your loyal stance
Green spandex and crazy style
Thank you for the happiness
That you gave to our lives
Although now our hearts are cracked
And our tears are slow to dry
We must count ourselves
The lucky ones
For we were with you in your prime
And I'll never lose your touch
No I'll never lose touch
Please stay in touch
Because I need you in my heart
Please stay in touch
I need your touch

holy F lucky you!!!
i was seriously thinking of flying 5 hours to go to this show/event. i love xavier's lights, vibe, songs and talent etc
to top that off you get franti as a headliner. that is just f'n crazy. at red rocks even!! OMG SO JEALOUS
did xavier come out and jam with franti?0 -
Only for Another Brick in the Wall if I remember. Franti livestreamed the show, so you can see it here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OM0nBqC-RUQ He comes out at around 1:21. I'm bummed that they didn't livestream Xavier's set as well. There are some youtube videos of his set but the crowd is too loud for them to be too enjoyable. Still, good memories. At the end of Franti's set he brings his brother out to play the trumpet. That really capped the night. It was awesome. For those wanting to see Xavier's didge prowess, this is amazing https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=QRBCzUPDUVA

What's really sad is that if I had planned better, Xavier was even closer to my home the next night in a really small venue.
Next time.
