Predictions for the stadium shows...
Will Ed's voice be able to stay strong?
Mostly the hits or some real rarities?
Any special guests?
Overtly political or mostly music and fun times?

That is a certainty, not a prediction. ;-)I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

9 posters each venue except Montana...they will get 10That I no longer give a fuck

I think they’ll go all out. More rarities the 2nd nights (like usual). 3 hour shows and maybe the extended openers (5 songs like at Fenway). Not as political as Europe, but a little bit. The divide has gotten hostel here, they may not want to risk it. But who knows - they’ve never been scared of anything like that before
. Shows will be an A+ whatever happens! Boston '06

I predict a safe setlist for Night one Seattle. Mostly the hits with a couple rarities sprinkled in.
Night two will get Vitalogy in all its sloppy glory, the hits and a couple rarities. I am also making (more so wishing) a prediction of a first encore run of songs that commemorate Chris Cornell and some other Seattle icons who have passed away.
-Long Road
-Temple of the Dog song (Hunger Strike or Say Hello to Heaven. Also, changing footsteps to times of trouble isn't that hard if they really wanted to do it).
-River of Deceit
-Come Back
-Man of the Hour
-Light Years
-Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns
-Immortality
-Alive

I predict this for Chicago and Boston since they have already played these venues.not sure what to expect for Seattle and Missoula.

I would expect, at minimum, similar experiences from the 2016 Chicago/Fenway shows (rarities, a few guest appearances, long sets, great energy).
Things I can see going above and beyond 2016 stadium expectations:
- More political commentary/moments
- World Series stories at Wrigley
- Cornell tribute or some additional guests during RITFW in Seattle (Mudhoney/SubPop show that Saturday)

I would love to see them go for no repeats at Fenway (and Seattle and Chicago too
) But, even with the high number of fan club tix, I imagine they are still assuming there will be a lot of one-show fans and will play Even Flow, Alive, Betterman, Corduroy, ect both nights.

This makes so much sense! Hoping that I can see Vitalogy (my favorite PJ album) in all it's sloppy glory at Wrigley 2, but I guess Seattle would make more sense...evenflow82 said:I predict a safe setlist for Night one Seattle. Mostly the hits with a couple rarities sprinkled in.

I heard from a guy that works concessions that there's going to be Pearl Jam Home/Away Shows branded hot dogs because you're gonna need something to eat while you drink the Pearl Jam branded bourbon, wine and beer. Stone apparently collaborated with Nathan's on an artisan hot dog recipe. Don't worry there's gonna be a vegan option too made by Impossible Brands.Post edited by antares434 on0

I am not sure if anybody has realised this, but Alice in Chains and Jack White will both be in the Seattle area the week of the home shows.0

Without Chris, any guests at a PJ show to me are a complete downgrade, unless its the rest of Sound Garden for one of their songs. Preferably My Wave with Eddie.FactoryMan93 said:I am not sure if anybody has realised this, but Alice in Chains and Jack White will both be in the Seattle area the week of the home shows.0
