    I have nothing against Boone. But the moves he's going to make are going to work a high percentage of the time with these group of players. Same with Dave Roberts in L.A., Alex Cora in Boston, or Joe Maddon with the Cubs.

    I was a big girardi fan but I get why his personality wasn’t a great fit for this group. I just like the way Boone talks about baseball

    Boone, like most modern day managers, just follows the book of numbers.  In mlb, good teams will make managers look good.  Poor teams, not good.  In the other 3 major NA sports, coaching matters.  Mlb its been diminished by the notebook

    Lets not pretend that the Yankees are some sort of underdog. They were a game from the WS last year and were preseason favorites this year after adding stanton... and they're the Yankees.  By definition, they can't be underdogs.

    How about not blowing this game. Didn’t like a few Boone pitching moves tonight. German shouldn’t have faced markakis that last time.

    Losing Gleyber sucks, but a good series win.  Have beaten a lot of really good teams this year.

    you guys always overpay for pitching.....because you can....kevin brown, big unit, etc.....they suck? oh, well. bad contracts like that could cripple other clubs.

    Good thing Sonny Gray isn’t a bad contract, just a bad pitcher.

    I’d put drury at first and demote bird. Trade for pitching. Unless they’re concerned about sanchez, they’re good
