Hardly any good shows are coming to my town this year for some reason. :( Worst concert year in Vancouver that I can remember. I have no tix for anything beside Jack White right now, but I will likely also grab tix for Car Seat Headrests and Leon Bridges soon.

Cake was at Shaky Knees and sounded great! Looking forward to a longer set, we had to bail about two songs early to get a good spot at the headlining stage. Ben Folds isn't an act I'd go out of my way for, but who knows... maybe he'll surprise me.

If I lived down there I would go every year. Got lucky that a buddy is on a contract in ATL and living literally right across the street from the park. The whole thing was a blast, hopefully I can sneak down there again. I'd try to fly back Monday next time, I had to leave just before Tenacious D and missed The National.

Got a few more adds here... Kills freebee show at House of Vans. Last minute invite for Stephen Malkmus and then my brother won a ticket for EELS and he was out of town so I went as a surrogate. Both good shows but I didn't know any of the music going in. Tycho & Parquet courts are Lolla aftershows and DCFC is a bday present from my brother.

A bunch more on the radar, Friday of Pitchfork for Julien Baker & Tame Impala, Riot Fest, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Oh Sees, Ghost... too many good shows this year!

really debating on seeing AIC at hammerstein ballroom on may 7th, considering that's my birthday, but my bf is not a fan and i dunno who else i'd go with.

never went and saw AIC on my b-day, and rock on the range was awesome (at least i got to see them there.) PJ is it for the year...trying to save money. just booked our hotel with my new credit card. can't wait!
