I'm a cynical mofo.  I was convinced that Roy Moore would win easily but even I don't think this clown has a snowball's chance in Hell.  

On of the more interesting things he says is "A lot of people are tired of political correctness and being constrained by it."  I kind of feel like this was the natural progression of the constant barrage of people complaining about political correctness.  Hey, he just says what he thinks!

    I'm happy for people saying what they think and getting rid of political correctness.  I just hope voters do the right thing (they blew the biggest test so far but have been doing better since) when they are presented with non-politically correct talk.

    I saw this last night.... I don't even really have much to say, it's just so fucked up (he'll be lucky to not get assaulted or killed though, with this story apparently going viral) .... Sometimes I think the 1st Amendment needs a little work though. I don't think some of his online activity should be included under the right to free speech.

    Pretty disturbing that he won 2% of any vote btw. That's well over 1000 people in his riding. I hope they are at least mostly on the sex offender registry.

    agree. he'll be lucky if he doesn't get strung up somewhere with barbed wire around his nads.

    I don't want to watch shows like that as if they're documentaries, but I would bet some of that stuff is rooted in some truth.

    Pedophilia is considered one of the paraphilias, which are eh conditions of abnormal sexual desires that usually have an element that makes them dangerous/risky in some way, like voyeurism, sadism, etc. This is part of the standard diagnostic nomenclature within mental health (psychiatrists, psychologists) at this point, not a fringe belief of “some psychiatrists”. 

    That does not equate to it being a defence against legal sanction if someone acts in this way.

    What I meant is that same psychiatrists have said pedophilia is a mental illness in the context that it could be used as a legal defense. I wasn't talking about the established/accepted position in the field.
