    http://fox59.com/2018/05/28/noblesville-mayor-says-he-was-booted-from-gun-store-following-school-shooting/

Just to give this perspective.  There was a shooting at a middle school in Noblesville, IN on Friday.  As of now there are no deaths.  The teacher that was shot (who tackled the shooter) is out of the hospital and doing well.  The little girl that was shot is still in the hospital in stable condition.

The day after the shooting, a local gun shop had an NRA sign up tent set up in their parking lot.  The REPUBLICAN Mayor (I think he's on his third term) went to the gun store to ask them to please take down the tent given the circumstances.  They kicked him out of the store.

Are you Ok?...offer something to the conversation other then belittling other people...
Belittling? I asked a serious question based on your frequent comments on an individual poster. Take you own advice and offer something to the conversation instead of going after everyone who responds to your posts in a way you don't like. I was being polite to you, but I will ignore you from now on, but ask that you quit filling this board with your personal vendettas against other posters.

As I said before, hope your day better.
    It's a hopeless situation...

No you take your own advice...if someone belittles another person or calls someone names...naturally they will defend themselves...what you just said is so *Hypocritical*...and you quit filling this board with Personal vendettas...

Hope your day gets better too...

    Fucking moron:

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/porn-leads-school-shootings-gop-162323247.html

Does anyone know what kind of porn Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) is watching?

Whatever it is, the 67-year-old Black, who is running for governor of Tennessee, said it’s a “big part” of what is driving the spike in school shootings.

During a meeting last week with local pastors, Black raised the issue of gun violence in schools and why it keeps happening.

    “Pornography,” she said.

“It’s available on the shelf when you walk in the grocery store. Yeah, you have to reach up to get it, but there’s pornography there,” she continued. “All of this is available without parental guidance. I think that is a big part of the root cause.”

Here’s an audio of her remarks, which she made during a listening session with ministers at Safe Harbor of Clarksville, Tennessee.

Black didn’t clarify what it is about porn that she thinks is leading to school massacres. Her congressional spokesman did not respond to a request for comment.Beyond naughty movies, Black said school shootings are on the rise because of the “deterioration of the family,” mental illness and violent movies. There have been 23 shootings of some type this year on the campuses of K-12 schools or colleges. Of those at the K-12 schools, nine involved a gun being discharged and people being injured or killed, including a Friday shooting in Indiana school that left a teacher and a student injured.Contrary to Black’s take, experts say poor social, economic and cultural conditions are primary drivers of gun violence. Enacting policies to improve those conditions for people, along with reducing access to firearms, would go a long way in stemming mass shootings, they say. These actions are “far more effective than all the police, doctors and hospitals combined, and intervening only after tragedies have struck,” said professors James Gilligan of New York University and Bandy Lee of Yale University, both experts on violence.

I'm more curious about what grocery store she shops at, lol. I've never seen porn in my local Safeway before! And God have mercy, keep this person away from the internet! If the grocery store porn disturbs her, she's liable to die from being scandalized once she sees what's online!

Gun fans:  I do not own a gun.   Am I still alive after 37 years because dangerous criminals assume I may have a gun on me in my car or home?  I just don't understand after reading up on these threads how I have survived all these years.  It is dumbfounding to me how lucky I must be.  Going to buy a lotto ticket today.

Wow!   You may have super powers.  You should check if you can fly or something.  I think it is highly unlikely I will make it four more years from now.  So many bad actors just waiting to attack me.

I have also eaten plenty of red meat over the years.  Not one ounce of it was from me shooting an animal myself to get it.  Don’t have a clue where it comes from.

That is very sad.  I'm sorry if you lost someone this way.

A lot of these people were probably murdered with guns.  I wonder what percentage of people killed would have enough time to get a gun to protect themselves in that incident even if they had the gun.   Sure the killers could use a knife or other blunt object, but it seems the common denominator are guns.  Other countries do not have the gun crime we do so I think we should start getting this country to become more like others (and that means a long term goal of getting rid of guns).
