Pearl Jam in Ceopenhagen

There are currently rumors going around that Pearl Jam is negotiating with a large venue in Copenhagen to play a show in june.

I am really hoping this is happening.

    there are so many concurring rumours that some of them have tobe true!
    I have faith...we'll see them before summer...and not just at festivals!

    I just have this fealing that PJ is going to make a very special concert at Roskilde this year.... There were many rumours last year when they did Europe... I really hope PJ will return and complete the circle.

    If they do appear, you just know it will make one hell of a concert.

    I agree it would be wonderful to see them at Roskilde again. It would have to be a so special and emotional show. but I doubt that they have the personal strenght that it would require for them to do another Roskilde Show.

    But maybe a Copenhagen show as well as a roskilde Show? Is that impossible?

    As I said, it should only be considered a rumor. But the source is a danish PJ forum, where some guy seems to know a booking agent at the venue that is supposed to host the show.

    but we'll see.

    Since Pinkpop apparently was too soon to fit into PJ's tour, I'd say more half June till half July. But I guess we'll see.

    I've been away for a while, but whoa this headline got me all fired up and lashing out at the keyboard!
    I not really shure how I would feel seeing them at Roskilde again. Would be very strange......
    With all the rumours flying around, we need to focus on facts. The guys have said that they're coming back to do more euroshows. They have also said that they were sorry that the couldn't fit more northern europe dates in the last time. So to me, it sounds very likely that they'll visit us and our neighbours this summer or at least this year.
    And fuck me, I'm ready!! Bring it on!!!

    I´d rather see them in an indoor venue than at the Roskilde festival again.
    I just don´t think I could enjoy the concert.
    But, yes indeed, bring on some euro dates soon!!

    Hmm.... I agree. But I'm having a hard time finding the perfect venue for them, that's not too big (like Parken) and not too small (like Vega). Forum maybe......??

    The thing is I think there would have been a lot of truth to these rumours. I think there have probably been a lot of bookings made a long time ago, perhaps while PJ was in Europe, maybe a bit later. I'm guessing they were made prior to the knowledge of Mike and Stone were to become fathers this year. I think they're holding off on perhaps cancelling all the gigs, but I feel this could very well happen as it did with PinkPop. I'm hoping not, but it would make sense.

    afaik, at least Mike would already have known in September.. so I can't think this argumetn holds..

    I sincerely hope they'll stay away from Roskilde! It would soooo much better to see them at an indoor venue here in Copenhagen instead of Roskilde - and a gig at Roskilde would be considerably shorter than a regular gig.

    What's wrong with having them playing 3 nights at Vega...

    My bet is The Forum - it holds 12000.

    I`m ing that there will be shows in scandinavia this summer..I just don`t like month,june..All my exams are in june,so i am really hoping for some late june shows..not early june;)
