Is anyone watching TakeOver New Orléans right now? I'm rooting for my fellow countryman Killian Dain to become North American Champion.

I was at a wedding last night but saw it this morning.  Best match was the ladder match for the North American champion.  Gargano vs Ciampa was really great also.  Only match I didn't care for was the women's match.  Shayna Baszler is the female version of Baron Corbin.

    Wrestlemania tonight, my predictions:
    AJ Styles over Shinsuke
    Roman Reigns over Brock Lesnar
Charlotte Flair over Asuka (sorry Asuka you undefeated streak is hopefully over)
Finn Balor win the IC belt over Miz and Seth Rollins
Rusev wins the US belt over Randy Orton, Bobby Roode and Jinder Mahal on Rusev Day of course!
Nia beats Alexa Bliss (I don't want Carmella to win but have a feeling she may cash in and win)
Bludgeon Bros. over The Uso's and The NEw Day for the Smacksown belts
The Bar over Braun Strowman and mystery partner (Heard everyone from Big Show to Samoa Joe (My guess) to Elias to Alexa Bliss to James Ellsworth.  Actually would be kinda cool for Ellsworth to be it).  Braun and his partner will most likely win but I hope they don't.  It would ruin the tag team division in RAW for sure.
Kurt Angle & Rhonda Rousey over Triple H & Stephanie (i'll be rooting for trips and steph though)
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn over Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon
    Mustafa Ali over Cedric Alexander
Andre the Giant Battle Royal winner- Big Cass
Womens Battle royal winner- Becky Lynch (no clue only picking her cause she's a PJ fan)
John Cena over The Undertaker (has to happen, right?)

I thought that Aleister Black vs. Andrade Almas was the best match on the show last night easily. The breakneck pace that they started at and kept up for most of the match was something to marvel at. I really didn't care for the tag team championship match, it was very cluttered I thought.

I try to watch wrestling as though it's real. Therefore I don't make predictions, I decide who I am rooting for, even when I know that there's 99.9999999% chance that the guy I want to win, will not. So with that in mind, here's who I WISH would win:

    Shinsuke
    Brock Lesnar
    Asuka
Finn Balor win the IC belt over Miz and Seth Rollins
    Randy Orton
    Nia beats Alexa Bliss
    The New Day

The Brock vs Roman match reminds me of the first Brock vs. Goldberg match. You knew the outcome because of Brock leaving. It would be a surprise if Brock wins

Ever since WrestleMania XXX I feel that even the most obvious things are not certain. It really helped me to get immersed in matches after that. So the battle royal played out quite well in the end I thought, although I called it that Bray would appear, when he wasn't in from the start.

Overall kinda disappointing Wrestlemania.  Some good matches like triple threat match for the IC belt, Charlotte vs Asuka and Owens/Zayn vs Bryan and McMahon.  Rousey surprised me a lot and that match was pretty decent. Styles vs Shinsuke was ok could have been better.  The Raw tag team match was kinda stupid picking a kid. Cena/Undertaker match, I Get why it was so short and taker won but it was also meh.  Surprised Brock won but the match was kinda boring also, Same moves everytime (F5, suplex, spear superman punch *yawns*)

The match of the night for me was the main event. I was only half watching it as it ended though because I had resigned myself to the fact that Roman Reigns was about to make his comeback and win. What a shock that Brock Lesnar came away still Universal Champion. Amazing. The biggest disappointment for me was Shinsuke Nakamura vs. A.J Styles, although I enjoyed the heel turn afterwards quite a bit. I don't think this was as good as last year's edition. But for me the last really great WrestleMania was XXX in 2014. A thumbs in the middle for me.

Charlotte/Asuka, Rousey, AJ/Shinsuke, Alexa/Nia(Although it would've been better if Alexa won) and Brock/Reigns only because the ending wasn't expected.

Apparently the 10 year old kid was WWE ref John Cone's son.  Still would have been better if they used an actual wrestler.  now the tag team championship division is a joke.  Overall i would give Wrestlemania like a 6 out of 10.

I would have loved James Ellsworth in that spot. Him and Braun could have made a good tag team. Kind of like a Booker T/Goldust goofy team.

Following the Rousey match, I thought this had the chance to be an all-time great WrestleMania. But it went off the rails with the Cena/Ellias/Undertaker crap. Forget about how dumb it was. It took like 40 minutes from Cena's entrance to it ending. That's what's been killing WrerstleMania for me. These LONG segments in the middle of the show that aren't entertaining and take way too long. Last year it was Rock and Cena with Rowan. Two years ago it was Rock and Rousey. And does every match need a long video package? I dunno. Five hours is too long for anything.

Rousey and Stephanie were great. I was down on Rousey coming into this due to how lame she's been booked (as a smiling goofball) but she was great in the match.

No. Every match doesn't need a long video package if they're already showing them on the pre-show. However, I'm sure people would still complain if they took away the video packages on some of the matches, calling for equality etc. I can't believe the level of butt hurt about the main event on Twitter.

I watched it.  As a guy who doesnt watch wrestling, but was into it back in the day:

I don't think it was bad.  Some things were.  Overall, I thought it was fun to watch for the most part

I thought the Flair match was awesome and the best match of the night.  The Rousey match was fun too from the standpoint of HHH and Angle nostalgia and large fan excitement.  Rousey/Stephanie botched a number of moves and when she was "beating up" HHH it looked ridiculous.  Daniel Bryan match was fun for the same reasons.

I also really like how they had Bryan and Lesnar win to flip the script on what was "obvious"

The Cena thing was embarrassingly awful.  I liked him in the crowd and sprinting in the back.  Once he got in the ring though.... oof.  They drew it out so the undertaker got like 16 pops over the course of the segment. ZZZZZZ.  Cena getting "scared" was over the top bad.

Not a lot of great personalities though outside of the women TBH.  What are they doing?

Main event... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.  2 boring slow guys with no charisma. Nobody likes either one so the crowd isnt into it.  Its just an f-5 and spear-fest.  For a wrestlemania main event it was a 1/10.

No. Why would you be upset that the censor someone swearing on what's intended to be a PG rated product? They've never NOT censored it.

yea but we pay for it. It's like if HBO or Showtime muted the curse words. Although all of cable shouldn't be censored. I understand because they have advertisers.

I pay to see Finding Dory as well. That doesn't mean I'm the primary audience that it is catering for. I hear what you're saying and all man, but I just think if that's the biggest complaint that you have about WrestleMania, then it was a pretty good year.
