Why would Team Trump Treason work with a convicted child molester? Its almost as if this whole thing is based on "I know we are, what are you?" as it relates to the accusations against Hillary in the run up to the election. You and I know nothing about where he's at, because of the nature of a professional investigation (i.e. you don't tell the public more than what you are legally obligated to). Also, perhaps you forgot why Special Prosecutors are called on - because of inherent and unavoidable conflicts of interest. For example, the House Intelligence Committee consisting of either Republicans or Democrats who have shown they put party before country on a regular basis. This is why the House Intelligence Committee's has no authority to terminate Mueller's investigation - that power resides with Mueller directly.
Finally, perhaps you don't know what the word vain means. I've never heard the word 'vain' used for people who step out of the spotlight.
