    Totally wrong here.  I thought this was definitely the Christmas single.  I was treating it like an Ole’.  

    So i guess this definitely qualifies as the first single since radio has it now.

    You mean that there are two different version of the song already?
    That the album is a done deal and people are crying here that they haven’t been in the studio etc

    the fact that we don’t know jack

    maybe they knocked it out in a week... could be something different

    makes the upcoming shows that much better to have new material

    Art is subjective but I love that this song would have seemed out of place on Backspacer or Lightning Bolt.  Means the band is still pushing it and challenging themselves and their fans.  

    I agree with the commenters that Cant Deny Me is reminiscent of The Clash with channeling of Chris Cornell.
