"Dragline" is a damn good album. The sound was tight and just rocked for coming out when it did. That's to bad it got overlooked. Some great jams on there. "Death to Traitors" has some good ones as well....JT_JamFan said:Paw - Jessie got a lot of plays back in 93 https://player.vimeo.com/video/25623266

I've been getting into Andy Bell's work recently after listening to the new Ride album, his band Hurricane #1 in the late 90's had some good songs -

Ride (came across them while watching the Netflix show Everything Sucks!) I had nver heard of them before. Doing some research, formed in the late 80's, first album came out in '90)

Yes! I've never met anyone that has heard of this band since about 1994! Saw them at Reading festival in UK and the Joiners in Southampton UK too.Attaway77 said:

they were? i didn't think they were that big in PA (least in the philly area) since they were from Canada and all. Only station that i kinda remembered playing them was y100 and that wasn't too much. Maybe live they had a following in PA?tempo_n_groove said:Our Lady Peace was big in PA, not sure about the rest of the world?

I used to really like Mansun. Their first album, Attack Of The Grey Lantern, was a great record.
I always remember their singles being pretty cool. They were all EPs (titled One EP, Two EP etc) and always had a bunch of non-album tracks.

A band out of Cornwall made a cool record back in 1993 called Beautiful Debris. Here's a fine cut from that album:

Not too obscure in the UK, but never really got the kudos they deserved. Singer Ginger is a prolific songwriter and releases at least one album a year. This was their biggest hit.

Never heard that song at all. Only album that got any play in Australia was Doubt. I knew of "International Bright Young Thing" which was another single of Doubt, but after that they completely disappeared from Australian airwaves.eeriepadave said:
