10C seat locations, call me crazy but......

Is is just me, or does it seem weird we don’t know where are seats are yet? Put in for and won tix to both Boston shows in the lottery. Super appreciative to be in the building and to not have to deal with all these other onsales or the secondary market. . But if you bought TM verified fan tix you know where your seats are. If you bought Red Sox season ticket holder presale tickets you know where your seats are. And if you can somehow get through the public onsale and get tickets you will known where your seats are. I guess I just don’t get why we have to wait 5 months to find out. Maybe I’m just an impatient person.

They are a small operation, have to take like 10,000 orders per show and distribute them in order of seniority, its a different operation than Ticketmaster or Tickets.com.

Basically for the lottery they know how many tickets they have available and allocate those by drawing.

It then takes them some time to attribute the individual tickets to individual members. This year they say we should know in July. Usually you don't know till you pick up your tix at will call day of show, so there's an improvement.

This process has its roots in only being able to pick up tickets hours before the show in order to combat scalping. Only recently, with digital ticketing, gave they offered to distribute them even a few weeks before the show.

They have never given out ticket locations in advance of picking them up at the box office. NEVER
This year will be the first time in 24+ years of being a member that I will know my seat locations before I leave my house.
It's part of the whole allure of being a 10club member

    enjoy the shows

It doesn't seem weird to anyone who has bought tickets through 10c before or had an understanding of how the process was going to work.

I got 10C tix in 09 and 13. I guess I don’t remember picking up at the BO but I must have. Again I’m just amped and impatient.

Take solace knowing your tickets will be better than those who know where they’re sitting.

Whoops you're right. I now remember getting my envelopes in 1996 and 1998 and being happy about my seats

  • I've done 10C tix plenty before but always GA. This is my first time waiting on seat locations (Fenway) and I have to admit the suspense is killing me already. Mostly hoping for the miracle of winning the lottery, my member # isn't going to get me anything spectacular

Not always. My Ticketmaster/tickets.com seats have been better than my 10 club seats and others many times.  They TRY to get the best seats, they get some but never all.

I bet it's not even 1000 per show.

I will gladly take that bet.

In the past its been about 10% which would be between 3500-400 for one of these stadium shows, but this year they got a much higher allotment.
