Got 10am for Seattle, but doesn’t say the 4 is limited to just one show, need 2 for each

I was wondering that too. Uhg, I got 1130. I can’t imagine many decent seats left. Glad I have the 10C seats to fall back on.

you get up to 4 tickets. 1 at a time, 2 and 2, any way you want to do it while there are still tickets available

I cant even open the email, keep getting server errors....don't need it, fucking ticketmaster
  • Have my reserved seats for Sea N2 but got selected for the presale.  I have a high 10C number, so it's really a shame we don't get to find out where we are sitting until sometime in July.  I'm afraid I am going to end up in the nosebleeds with crappy seats when I could have done the presale and paid more for better ones.  Frustrating not knowing where your lotto seats are in a timely manner.  I'll likely check out the presale just to see what I could get and may take the gamble on an extra set of tickets.

This is exactly what I’m doing. If I see decent seats on TM, I’ll prob buy them and hope to meet up with someone in Seattle and walk in together so they can use my phone for the 10C seats. I’d take less than face at that point if someone is willing to meet.

Also remember, the verified fan algorithim is unknown.  But if i was designing a system, if you bought 4 tickets through verified fan, and transferred all 4, that might make me more likely to think you are a scalper for the next time.  Just something to consider. No one knows.
This was a fascinating part of the discussion and one that I think a lot of people missed. I would only buy and transfer if it was to someone I knew and I was sure they were going to use them. Zero chance I'd transfer to randoms on a message board. If those tickets find their way to a resale site, it's on your record.

Yes but you can make them a pdf and just email them to the person so they don’t have the abilities to do that since they don’t have them in an account
Maybe? I still see nothing but downside.

I was selected for Seattle, 10:30am slot, but I've decided not to go, so at least one person on the waitlist will get in. ;)
Similar situation here - got 10c tickets to both Seattle shows but I need a Chicago 1 slot sadly

    1. On the morning of the presale, you will receive a text message similar to the one below:

    2. When you click the link provided in your text and you will be routed to Tickets.com to begin shopping. Upon landing, click the Buy Tickets button located at the bottom of the page.

We get text message on the phone. They then tell us to use a computer to buy. Sounds buggy. Hmmm, why not just send an email?

Don't you think that we will have to present positive identification and the smartphone screen? If it were my system I would do that

Because making sure you have a cell phone is how they "beat the bots."

Please stop asking for or sharing codes. Thank you
Based on the PJ Radio interview with the guy from TM, sharing your code (someone else buying with your code) is probably a good way to get blacklisted by the Verified Fan system.
I doubt this is true. The issue is that it just won't work. Once you enter the code, you have to log into your TM account, and if they don't match it doesn't let you buy.
There really is nothing stopping you from buying and then transferring tickets to someone else. But the code itself is not transferable.

I was selected for one of the later slots for Seattle but got 10c tickets. May be interested in trading for Chicago or Boston if anyone is interested, let me know.

Do you think they will go that far? I mean geez, limiting them to the smartphone of the owner and checking IDs at the gate? It will take 7 hours to get in and through security as well. I guess you could also give them your better TM tickets and hope they don’t run off!!!!

Just to confirm: If I already have 10c tix that I'm happy with I simply ignore any texts I'll be receiving tomorrow (and hope that helps someone who's been wait listed)?

I got picked for 10am for Seattle.   I have 10c tickets, so I hope that not using it, doesn't mess me up for verified fan in the future.
