NBA player for the NJ Nets. Asked for anew contract,w as rebuffed, and decided to sit out a game:


Jason Kidd was "on strike," last night several team sources claimed, and he essentially called in sick, perhaps in an effort to force a trade from the Nets or get a contract extension.

    i find it hard to believe that those newspaper reports are accurate. sounds like someone in the organization (not rod thorn or lawrence frank) does not like kidd, which is why all the papers instead of just one having it.

    Jason Kidd has always been great. As a Bucks fan I have had the frustration of watching them play against him for years. I think he is up there for all time triple doubles, and he is the only one in the NBA who has ever come close to avg. a triple double since Oscar Robertson.
