    Small forward has been a major focus for this organization. Their last two 1st round picks and their big off-season splash was an investment in the position. I thought they made a mistake getting Hayward.

    Also... the significant reason the Celtics are better this year in my mind is Kyrie Irving. IT played with a lot of heart, but he was a score first PG that didn't necessarily make his teammates better. Irving scores too, but he doesn't force things in grotesque ways (ie. driving into the lane... drawing three defenders... closing his eyes... not seeing teammates open and waving their arms frantically... and tossing it up towards the rim while falling out of bounds on the baseline).

    Yes, Kyrie has been exceptional this season and I was a bit surprised at how controlled he has been. He is definitely a step up from IT and that was Ainge's best decision of the offseason in not paying IT. He was great for the C's, but he is NOT a franchise player or worth the max. Small guards traditionally drop levels as soon as their athleticism fades and that will be very soon for IT.

    Brad Stevens is another MAJOR reason fort he success. He is an outstanding coach and like JimmyV mentioned, the fact that they have not missed a beat since Hayward went done is amazing.

    Baynes has been a solid pick up for them too and has given them some grunt in the middle and also has the ability to knock down open jumpers.

    It took a while for them to start sucking, but true to form, classless asshole crybaby Danny Ainge is making veiled statements blaming their slump on his absence: "I think what we could really use is like a 6'8" wing player that can shoot ... a guy who can play off the ball and create offense on the ball, and also play multiple positions defensively."

    I was watching the best of Paul Pierce last night on Youtube and that Nets 2002 game where they came back and won still brings chills.  I forgot how much they crushed the Lakers in Game 6 in 2008.  That was just epic and awesome.  KG legit tears and emotions was just simply supreme.  "Anything is possible.  ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!"
