I'd be excited if they did some interesting stuff sprinkled in the next couple of years. Like maybe do strings of shows at really obscure venues. ie 7-10 shows back at Mount Baker. 7-10 shows at the Port Chester Theater in NY, 7-10 shows at Upper Darby.
It would be an interesting way to bridge the gap of accessibility (stadium shows) and some fun things like the mellow sets with maybe 8-10 songs where they let loose, thing something quasi Santa Barbara 2003, 2006, Red Rocks night 2, etc.His eminence has yet to show.

Small venue no more than 2000 tickets
$500 ticket price = $250 goes to band and $250 to Vitalogy Foundation
Ten Club only. Tickets will sell out. If not then open the rest up to public afterwards.
if they do it near Dayton or Cincinnati, OH, then I’ll buy the band dinner and drinks!! Seriously. Call me Ed. :hang_loose:2006 Clev,Pitt; 2008 NY MSGx2; 2010 Columbus; 2012 Missoula; 2013 Phoenix,Vancouver,Seattle; 2014 Cincy; 2016 Lex, Wrigley 1&2; 2018 Wrigley 1&2; 2022 Louisville0 -
Bands that play small venues consistently likely play 60-80 shows a year when they tour. And do not have a massive crew operation.NewJPage said:

I take small venues, back where it all began to be, extremely tiny clubs that can't handle more than a few hundred people. That ain't happening. For so many reasons. His eminence has yet to show.

Unless they kind venues that have no exclusive ticketing partner, ie like virtually 95% of the venues in the country being TicketMaster run, they are never getting Ten Club only.PP193448 said:

Also, they very much need to make money. If Pearl Jam members did not need to earn money, they would give the entire net of their events to charities. They need to make money. His eminence has yet to show.

I dunno. I agree it would be cool, but it really doesn't seem plausible? The band creates crazy ticket demand because they don't tour much. As a result they seem to reach as many fans as they can with the few dates they play. They can play to as many fans in a single stadium show as 10 (or more) theatre shows. The band seems a little more efficient at playing for as many fans as they can with the few dates they play.PB11041 said:I'd be excited if they did some interesting stuff sprinkled in the next couple of years. I'm also not sure it makes the band more accessible. What's a theatre hold. Anywhere from 1000 to 4000 people? Tickets would be almost impossible to get

But the idea of expecting someone to work and entertain for free (or no monetary gain for themselves, and only cover expenses) is selfish and just plain dumb. It doesn't matter how rich you are, every deserves to be paid for their time.0 -
Don’t think anyone ever said for them to play for free. I said half proceeds of expensive tickets could potentially go to charity. If you don’t think these guys are wealthy enough, then you’re crazy. Just having some fun here. Just dreaming and thinking it would be awesome for Ten club only shows. I realize it’s extremely unlikely to ever ever happen. Bunch of Debbie Downers here. Too pessimistic... :get_outta_here:mace1229 said:

Bridge the gap, the accessibility would be the stadium shows. The smaller venue runs would be the fun part.Zod said:

this band will never play a small club tour. they sell out wrigley fucking field for two shows. demand for small venues would be insane. none of us would ever get tickets.
secret warm up show in a small venue? perhaps, but even that is still doubtful. partially because nothing can remain secret anymore as long as it needs to be.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -
