I like to take band suggestions from this forum, then check them out on YouTube. If I like them, then I'll get their album. Amazon usually makes some pretty good suggestions too.HesCalledDyer said:
I know. If it's not a band that's already established in my repertoire, I pretty much don't pay attention anymore. I'm sure I'm missing some good music but, as I get older, the more I lack the desire to begin new muscial commitments. 90% of the artists being named in this thread, I've never even heard of nor am I sure how or why I should've heard of them. And I find that a lot of the more mainstream & better known artists just don't do much for me these days. I'm not saying I want everything to sound like the 90's, because that's certainly not the case... but I have become a bit stuck in my ways.Tim Simmons said:What?! That’s crazywww.RLMcDaniel.com

LukinFan said:Agreed..... that's some good advice, and always a good place to start. Pearl Jam and their fans have turned me on to so much great music over the years, that I would never have discovered otherwise. Most people on here are going to be massive PJ fans obviously..... so there is always a decent chance that if the band likes some particular artist/album, or fellow fans do, there is a decent chance that I will too.I like to take band suggestions from this forum, then check them out on YouTube.
