    So i work in the area of all these bars, close to dark horse which is a very cool bar. Big City tap is owned by the liquor store next door which is called 1000 liquors and is open 24 hours however their price increase 25% after like 2:30 or something............

    warning all of these bars will be very busy regradless of of PJ this area is one of the drinking capitals of the midwest and a night after a cubs game will be crazy then throw in PJ at the Vic.......... glad I am off work cause I would probably puch someone.

    you mentioned that bars stay open till 4? When do they stop serving alcohol?

    P.S. South of Seattle and I could punch some people with you when we get to town... :D

    Most bars close at 2 and last call is around 1:30, maybe 1 in 10 bars are 4 o'clock bars (like Big City Tap is) that are open til 4 last call is at 3:30. And even better yet on Saturday all bar closing times, or at least most, are pushed back 1 Hour so a 2 o'clock can be a 3 and etc...........

    people in chicago love their bars.

    Edit * if you are at lolla there is a four o'clock bar that is about three blocks from the stages called the south loop club at the corner of state and balbo it is not bad good veggie burger and hot wings :)

    Did a little reconnaissance this morning and you can indeed see the front door of the Vic from the Big City Tap, however... :D

    I'd like to be as close to the Vic as possible pre-show. I just don't feel like stumbling more than a few blocks.

    Since it seems like it's safe now, I'll be there, along with "Mr. IndySarah", aka Feeble41-- we'll be representing Indiana, the Indianapolis area (Fishers, to be exact)

    Hitting up the Cubs game before, then hitting the Vic!! Only thing better would be if Eddie was singing on Thursday instead of Friday, but can't be too greedy!!
