    He's probably busy with his own tour but Glen Hansard as opener would be a dream. I've seen him with Ed (and plenty solo) but it would be great to him with the whole band. 
    But as many said above a 3 hr PJ set is also totally acceptable  =)

    I generally enjoy an opener.  I love dicovering new music through my favorite band.  They just need to get new fresh acts instead of mudhoney over and over lol

    I prefer an Evening with PJ.
    But if.....then Myles would be great. Or Wolfmother. Or Halestorm.

    On July 29, 2015, the band announced an indefinite hiatus.

    Saw them open for Rise Against and was surprised to discover I knew all of their songs. Really great front man, Brian Fallon. They should come off indefinite hiatus.

    I guess the talents of the other Gaslight Anthem guys are somewhat limited for what Brian wants to do.

    I would probably hit every show on the tour if Highly Suspect opened for them. 

    If not them, let’s stick to an evening with PJ

    One thing I miss about opening bands is when Eddie (Mike in Columbus!) would come out before the opening band and do some improvs or deep cuts like...
