Does anyone here remember them, or even know of them..?
The Mercury-nominated solo artist Richard Hawley was their guitarist. I don't really care for his solo stuff, but this band were superb.

Oh yeah! Love the Longpigs. 'The Sun Is Ofter Out' is one of my all time favourite albums. I go back to it again and again.
Glad there's some love been shown. They were overlooked in favour of some very average bands back in the 90s ( I won't name names, it's just an opinon!), but I think they were great.
Crispin Hunt has been involved in a few projects since, but I've never got around to checking them out. Maybe I don't wanna be disappointed that it's not as good as the Longpigs!!!Cymru Am Byth
