    This was a total rip off ... a bunch of used open albums thrown/ stuffed  into a box. Tenclub should be ashamed of themselves for this -- I am ashamed of myself for buying it.

    My box set was delivered today, just for the record (haha) Lightning Bolt and Backspacer were both on black vinyl. The set is a really nice complement to the previous two box sets.  

    Pretty pumped to listen to Riot Act, Avocado and especially Binaural. I’m gonna crank that mutha up LOUD when the drums kick in on Rival.

    -All 10 albums in the LP storage box that everyone wants
    -10c explained the surplus (there’s still only 500 that went to fans). 

    everyone got exactly what they paid for right?

    even the images in the header post shows unsealed records. maybe people should be pissed that they got a sealed backspacer and a sealed lightning bolt instead of the other way around.

    Yeah, that comment surprised me. I didn’t order the boxset, but I did order the Petty boxsets. The box itself was sealed but the albums were not. I didn’t think that made them “used.” Not that it would’ve mattered. I tore the plastic off and blasted the lp’s.

    Remember the dreaming that went on once these were sold out? People were thinking maybe they were going to get handwritten notes from Ed inside the box or maybe that the vinyl was going to be colored.

    Now there's some disappointment with people getting exactly what they ordered. It seems like people had their hopes a little too high.

    I just want a tour announcement. And I'd like a new album where the lyrics and music have been inspired by today's tensions. Is that asking too much?

    * Oh... I'm getting custom charges on the three albums I purchased. F**ks sakes.

    I got my set today. Thanks tenclub.  I wasn’t a lucky one with the golden ticket... oh well.  Maybe next time.
