Right now it's anything with Hold On. They could play Bugs, Pry To, and FoxyMopHandleMama as an encore and I wouldn't care.

It would have to be songs I've never seen live before. So something like this:

but the most important thing is that the last song of the first encore is crown of thorns (with chloe dancer)...well, did they ever play chloe dancer? i think the official setlist archive says they did, tsis says they did not...

oh i forgot...chris cornell appears and they will perform reach down and hunger strike

You're right. If they have played "Chloe Dancer" (or "Chloe is a Dancer" as I've seen it called), then it wasn't on the Atlanta 2003 bootleg. It could've been played and then just omitted, like they did with a few songs from that tour, but I don't see any reason why, unless the band wasn't happy hearing it played back and decided to omit it from the album.

So, you need to ask someone who was at the Atlanta 2003 show if the song was ACTUALLY played along with "Crown of Thorns" on that night in April. Doesn't it precede "CIT", anyway? It would be very easy to cut "Chloe Dancer" out of the bootleg and make the first encore start with "Crown of Thorns" before moving on to "Black".

Maybe it was on the setlist, but in the end PJ didn't have time to play it... entirely plausible, and since there are errors with the official site song database (i.e.s. there is no way to tell how many songs were tags of "YL", since McCready may have only played a few lines from a cover; there is no page for "Hold On" from the 'Lost Dogs' album since Pearl Jam also covered a Tom Waits song named "Hold On" a number of times during the 2000 tour, thereby creating a clusterfuck with the website), and some songs have no page entry or lack lyrics for rightful reasons, etc.

I composed a dream setlist. I've composed several! I was practically called a goddamned fool for it, too. Humbug.

The closest I've gotten to hearing my dream setlist was Wembley 1996, Night #1. Great setlist, but the band has recorded a lot of great songs on subsequent albums, forcing my hand. Everytime the band releases a new album or single, you practically have to re-write the dream setlist or your stuck in time. Or you could just be moody and like to change up the game from time to time. However you do.

I just know what I like; some of the best versions of some of my favorite PJ songs were performed in stripped-down un-plugged sets at gigs like Bridge School, etc. Just listen to "Sometimes" and "Corduroy" from the first night of Bridge School 1996 Night One, and the oft-appreciated rendition version of "Porch" from the following night. Add "Around the Bend" (one of my least favorite PJ songs, but better here at this show then anywhere else I've heard it), and it's a great set of songs. All of it capable of blowing minds. Beware, acoustic Pearl Jam can steal a piece of your soul.

Still believe that Pearl Jam has grown up and evolved, and they're much better musicians and loyal to their fans in 2006 than they were a decade ago. They've just never sounded better. And on that note, the future looks promising.

my dream set-list is for pj to play 5 nights at msg and play all there songs.also have jack come back on drums for some of the songs during each night
