    My 4 are Mattingly, Parker, Morris, and John. But my guess is one of those will be replaced with Miller.

    And I know people will say. So and so has more hits or home runs than Mattingly. But so and so played at least 5 or more years. And the numbers are still close even with that advantage. 
    Mattingly had 6 good years...  I'd have Garvey or Murphy in before him.
    He retired at 34. He would've had good numbers
    Would have doesn't equal the hall...

    I loved when he played but his numbers aren't good enough.  Hell I don't think Jim Rice should be in.
    Koufax retired early and he's in. Just saying the numbers on most of the guys aren't that great. And he played less years and has similar numbers. If you want to go by WAR. He's probably 4th or 5th of the players he's up against in this ballot. His OPS vs the batters is better than most on this ballot. And he has 2 baseball related nicknames (Hitman and Donnie Baseball). That should count as half a vote
    Jack Morris, Dale Murphy and Marvin Miller should get in from that list.  the rest are border line or below.

    Interesting fact about Roy Halladay.
    In 2000 he had an ERA of 10.64 in 67.2 innings pitched.
    The ERA of 10.64 is the worst single season ERA in MLB history with at least 50 innings or more pitched.

    Yeah, he actually went all the way down to Single A, and worked his way back to be a HOF.  Pretty amazing, really.

    That's good shit. I'm racking my brain trying to think of another player that came up, sucked for awhile, and then went back down to A ball to come back and dominate that way.

    I wouldn’t say he’s a no doubter but his stats are considerably better than some already in. I bet performing well and behaving professionally for so many teams will help him out quite a bit. The main moment I remember with him is watchin a Wainwright curve sail by, but he always brought it in the postseason and played well after busting his ribs against the Redsux. Hardly remember particular plays...I know he had a walk off and had a huge outfield assist in the NLCS.
