I 100 percent agree. It's the mans job even if it's our favorite hobby/past time/life lesson, and jobs are part of a business, an artist does what is best for them. Nothing wrong with that.Noload said:

What i wonder, and this probably isn't the best place for this discussion , but how does the artist feel during one of these gigs? Is it "look at these half interested fat cats, I miss playing for the real fans?" Or is it the same everytime when you go on stage and do your job?
I always thought the crowd was responsible for a or a lot of the energy at a show as it starts in row 1 and keeps going to the last row and gets off on that. But if a gig is a gig and it's all the same, that'd be learning a feeling I haven't felt since I found out there was no (spoiler alert) Santa clause'98: Camden 1 '00: JB2 '03: MSG1 '04: Boston 1 '05: AC1

I think they dont love doing it but the money is too good. Also there may be higher ups at an organization that maybe they do have a relationship with that faciltates them taking one big payday and passing on many others. I think the answer lies in the fact that the Oracle show (2012?) isnt listed in the tour history.nycrats said

Nah, the info says: "we don't have any confirmed date". Fake. If PJ is doing Werchter (a festival they always do), I don't see them playing in Poland on 7.07 cause RW is 5-8.07.Post edited by Kusy on2007: Chorzow, PL

June 26th and July 1st are the only days taken up so far in Krakow. I would say anything from the 2nd until the 8th is a possibility. Of all locations this one would be nice to get a back to back though I doubt that would happen.0

Really want to visit Krakow, got really excited when reading about the city last week.
Booked a refundable room for 2 nights just in case.225xxx - 6/28/00, 10/20/01, 10/22/01, 9/11/06, 9/22/06, 9/23/06, 6/18/07, 6/26/07, 8/15/09, 6/25/10, 6/30/10, 7/4/12, 7/5/12, 7/7/12, 7/10/12, 6/26/14, 6/28/14, 7/3/18, 7/5/180 -
Also makes sense to play a private gig and donate all the funds as a tax write-off. Cover the taxes owing on the year's earnings. Done and done.Noload said:

I enjoy people making travel plans based on rumors almost as much as I enjoy people freaking out over the lottery. To each his own, I guess.mrk2 said:Really want to visit Krakow, got really excited when reading about the city last week.

Are they even touring with their own stage in Europe, they have a mix of festivals, arenas, stadiums, and "fixed stage" venues (like Wuhlheide). The locals will setup the bare stage, depending on venue. Stadiums use different stage than arenas. The band will bring the props, lights and backline gear. PA rented locally or bring their own, at festivals will use theirs. The setup of the bands gear can be done in a matter of couple of hours.dimitrispearljam said:

Which is the correct then ?
I booked 6th - 8th initially. It's a corporate rate thanks to my employer. Those are also easy to transfer to different dates and make other changes.
