    Too bad that Bowman just signed with Raiders.  49ers only released him because he wanted to be treated like the veteran solid player he is, and not to come out and lose playing time to kids so that the 49ers can play this year to understand who they have in young players to contribute to the future.  He can still ball....would have been a good fit.

    Completely disagree on Hicks.  Best ability is availability and Hicks doesn't have it.

    Yeah that was the first thing I thought of when I heard Hicks was done. Horrible timing.


    Poor guy just cannot stay healthy---but when he is healthy, he is a beast. Hicks is a huge loss

    good win.  glad to see them do well against a bad team.  i remember a few times during the Reid era they would not show up against a team that they should beat.

    nice to play a game where you didn't have many worries other than someone getting hurt.  take the win and move on.  Would have been really nice if Washington could have beaten Dallas though. With 2 games against Dallas still they are looming still as a challenger.

    if you are going to lose in the next few weeks the best spot to lose would be to Denver next week.   it looks like the at Seattle game could be huge for home field advantage down the line.  Be nice to knock them off to possibly kill the chances of having to go there in the playoffs.

    Even if it's just for this year I love it.

    I would think the idea of an LT is out given what Seattle gave up for one that's 32.

    Apparently the Dolphins are concerned about his knees holding up going forward....but he's only 24 and has another year left on contract. And we have three 4ths next year. I'm happy.

    Yeah, I saw that too - they're counting the days on his knees. But who cares. Again, even if it's just for this year I'm perfectly fine with this move.
