Was at the Lagoon last night and there was a very healthy amount of people to see let's play two. Overall, a good film! I don't think it will age well and I could have done without seeing of the song edits and cut off, but hopefully there will be some cool extras in the DVD and I walked away happy. :-)
I've never seen this many people at a one night only screener for a band.
Target Field? Xcel? Something midwestern for 2018!!!I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

i thought clinch nailed it (or knocked it out of the park, if we want to keep up baseball references). it captured the joy and sense of community/fandom that these types of shows bring, and with gleason and that john dude having their own moments showed how the band relates to and participates in the community that they helped create.
how about seeing ron f'n coomer on the big screen, eh?0 -

How about some target field love! I remember hearing there was a standing offer out for the guys to play there.
Lord knows we don't need another summer of Luke Bryan and Kenny Chesney. Yeash!I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

Maybe its just me, but I'm over the epic baseball field concerts. Gimme a string of arena shows instead of one epic weekend.

Minneapolis named a 'top 10 place to visit' in 2018... in the entire WORLDEarlier this week, the Wall Street Journal released a 2018 travel guide with 10 "hot destinations for adventurous sophisticates, curious foodies, and deep-pocketed beach bums."
Here's the full WSJ item about the City of Lakes:"The twin city that gave the world Prince and Bob Dylan --and will host the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 4--is now luring curious foodies. In 2017, Minneapolis claimed 13 James Beard Award semifinalists. When Gavin Kaysen, chef/owner of the wildly popular Spoon &Stable (in a converted 1906 barn) opened his modern bistro Bellecour last spring, he booked 1,000 reservations in the first 24 hours. Other notable names to drop: Thomas Kim, who left Los Angeles to establish the Rabbit Hole, and Erik Anderson, who sharpened his knives at the Catbird Seat in Nashville and took over Minneapolis's Grande Cafe earlier this year."0
