    Better than the NES Classic?
I was a bit letdown by it.
I'm looking forward to the 6th!

I need Super Mario World.  I paid for it on the 3DS but the damn controls are too small (obviously why I suck now ;))

Getting a Super NES and Super Mario World at Christmas in 1991 was probably the apex of joy for a young Jason P.

For me, the NES Classic seems to have a slight lag.  A tiny lag makes games those games frustrating/near impossible
  • If anyone locates one I'll buy it.

Yeah, I picked up on a bit of input lag as well on my NES Classic.  Thought it might be due to aftermarket controller cable extenders, but it seemed to be the same when plugged in directly.
So, no lag on the SNES?

not sure.  mine just was delivered

I actually did some research on the NES Classic.... and some people monkeed with display settings.  If you use the 'pixel perfect' one, it supposedly improves.  I tried it this weekend and it seemed to be much better... although it still seems like I am considerably worse at some 'precision' games such as Battletoads.

Yeah, I tried to adjust the video settings on my TV as well.  Game setting, regular, all the others...didn't seem to help much.

Hard to argue with that.  The only thing that could rival that would be Christmas '94 when I got Donkey Kong Country and Vitalogy.

My sister got a SNES Classic; her boyfriend surprised her with it Friday.  Told her she needs to let me borrow it so I can get my Link to the Past fix.

I actually had one in my cart, and I almost bought it, and then I stopped and thought, "Wtf am I doing?? I don't even want this thing!" The hype almost got me for a second there.
