Born To Run has 8 songs and is a perfect album. Give me a solid album and then throw in bsides on singles or a deluxe version of the album. We haven't had a cohesive piece of art album since 2002.

More songs like Pendulum and Infallible! Give me some weirdness!

Ahh,  I remember the first time I heard Pendulum I immediately proclaimed to my wife that they have a new show opener.  Sure as shit they opened up most of the 2013 shows with it.  Love this song!

Late next year? They haven't really done anything yet and haven't worked fast in the studio in 15 years

It's more a wish than a prediction...but I'd love them to do their version of the White Album. One of my favourite albums. Not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure, but it's an eclectic double album full of goodness!

I wish I shared your optimism, Greek. 6...maybe. But I think 3 is pretty low. I'll go 9-12 months.

It's going to be at least another year or two before another one...  Releasing these Chicago shows, all the hype, etc with it. That will "satisfy" the masses for awhile. Do the Lollapalooza shows next year to pay the bills. Eddie will do a solo U.S. tour while they continue to work on a new album for a 2019 release.

Isn’t Dimi the gentleman that usually gets things right though :). Hope he’s right on this as well!

I like the “read into it” lyrics more than the Bushleaguer direct approach.  I think something like Infallible is way more powerful than a flat out anti-this person or anti-this.

Maybe im just exhausted.  I get the same message from pop artists, football players, etc. i want a different approach to the president

Yep....  What else is there to write about? Love? Life? Majority of PJ fan base are grown adults, we've been through all that shit already. To be honest, I'm looking forward to hopefully hearing more of Jeff, Mike, Stone and Matt just ripping a new album apart and bringing to the table what they do best.

I miss the "Riot Act" and "Binaural" album era.  Those albums felt like a place to disappear into.

This thread makes me feel like this board is being overrun by Radiohead fans with the wild "out of nowhere" belief. I love Pearl Jam, but they're not innovators in music business practices anymore. Maybe we will get a single out of nowhere and an announcement of an upcoming album, but that's all.
