Predict the next album

Here's my prediction. The boys won't be releasing an album until 2019. It'll be their first double album and on the tour for it,  they will play the entire album and then do a quick set of hits.

    Neil Young did that when I saw him back in the mid 2000s.
    Didnt know that was going to happen, he played an hour of songs I never heard, came back to 3 hits as an encore and went home. Worst show I ever saw....or at least biggest disappointment, but not worst I guess.

    Greendale. I saw the same tour (although my second set was probably 75 minutes of old stuff). One of the best shows I've seen.

    I'll guess it will come out around Christmas 2018. Figure the South America shows are just short of 6 months from now. So maybe they'll start working on the new stuff soon..put the finishing touches on it throughout next year as they tour Europe and hopefully the west coast....?

    Only way I see a double album happening is if they clearly proclaim it as the final Pearl Jam album. 

    But honestly I see a future that holds 2-3 more albums.

    I still think that the next album will be hammered out really quick and dropped by the beginning of next summer.

    I would have been happy with that.
    Maybe my encore was so short because he was almost 2 hours late due to "technical difficulties."
    I remember the crowd was seriously worried that something bad happened and they just weren't telling us. People even started to go home it was taking so long.
    So maybe he had to cut the encore short due to time.  After the first set, he came out and did only 3 hits and left. I remember Cinnamon Girl, but cant remember the other 2, ones we all knew though at least. I remember turning to my friend and thinking "this can't be it?" and stayed well after the lights came on and nearly everyone else left thinking there must be another encore with about 10-12 hits coming.

    I think we'll get a new album in 2018.  I had the feeling they were beginning to work on it earlier this year.   Most (all) of the members of the band were spotted in Seattle all around the same time.  I don't think that's as common an occurrence as you would think.   

    I think Chris Cornell's passing had a huge impact on whatever their plans were :(

    I'm predicting that they already have been working on new songs and are at the stage where it's time to get in the studio and record them.  Given how much difficulty they had with lighting bolt (having to do it in two different sessions spread quite far apart) I'm not sure they've currently got the juices and motivation to do a double album.

    I predict a new single disc album to come out on November 10th, 2018.

    I'm going to go late spring next year. I believe Dimi that PJ going to tour extensively next year and I do t see that large of a tour without a new album

    I'll also add that at first I thought you meant a Best Of collection, buuuuut I saw Unthought Known, Lightning Bolt, and Inside Job listed and then I picked up that that couldn't be it.
