If Judge keeps crushing shit out I may change my mind on MVP...

Also I loved this.  Good for Addison Russel.

"Nacho Man" is going to have a hell of a day at work today!  That was a great moment.  Cubs on-field reporter Kelly Crull interviewed him later during the game and he was on cloud nine.  People were asking him for autographs by the end of the game.  One minute of Russell's time and that guy is going to have a great story to tell for the rest of his life.

He ended up catching another foul ball later, too, and gave it to a kid sitting nearby.
    That story got even better!

I miss times like this in BB.  I remember Mattingly eating a kids popcorn.  Larry Walker giving a kid a ball then took it back because it was only out 2.  Rickey Henderson seeking out a little girl fan when he was traded to another team but returned to the old stadium.

    I LOVE stories like this.
Absolutely!  A few seasons back there was this girl in Milwaukee who was a HUGE fan of Carlos Gomez and went to a bunch of games with signs made up for him, always wearing his jersey, etc.  He surprised her one day by going into the stands and picking her out to throw the ceremonial first pitch. She lit up like a Christmas tree.  In the game, he hit a home run and waved to her as he rounded the bases.
Any time a player goes even the slightest bit out of the way to make a fan's day is THE best.

You know what's funny?  I'd like a player to do that for me and I'm 41, lol!

    So more thread integrity:

Does Judge belong in the MVP conversation still?  His numbers are too huge to ignore.

If, at the very least, Judge isn't named a finalist for MVP, there's something wrong.

    Astros, Tribe, & Twins?

    you got it!

twins have no shot. It'd be nice to see them beat the yankees but I don't even see that happening.

First team in history to go from 100 losses to making the playoffs.  Anything can happen!

Might take him awhile if the Marlins blow up the team and or he gets let go.

  • Stanton at 59 HR's.  Now that's exciting.

Let's hope that ESPN or someone posts their games.

The Angels have ALWAYS been loyal to people.  Remember Jimmie Reese and the fungo bat?

I love the Angels but I'd like to see a new coach.
