How About Another Pedalboard Thread

Most of the pics are gone from the last one. I know a lot of you people use and love pedals. So, whip it out! This is my bass board:

Sonic Research tuner > Tech 21 XXL Distortion > Emma Electronics DiscumBOBulator Envelope Filter > T-Rex Mudhoney Fuzz > Homebrew Electronics Psilocybe Phase Shifter > BBE Mind Bender Chorus/Vibrato > Tech 21 Bass Driver Preamp/DI > Boss DM-2 Analog Delay.

The board is a Pedal Train PT-1 HC. Powered by Visual Sound 1-Spot and wired with Planet Waves Cable Station kit.

    This is my guitar board:

    Sonic Research Tuner > Fulltone OCD Overdrive > Homebrew Electronics Ultimate Fuzz Octave > Dunlop 535Q Wah > Homebrew Electronics Mimic Mock II Analog Delay > Voodoo Labs Micro Vibe > Digitech Hardwire Reverb. 

    I use the amps footswitch for channel switching and onboard tremolo.

    Pedal Train PT-1 HC. Powered by Visual Sound 1-Spot and wired with George L's Vintage Red cables.

    As of this summer I am officially pedal free. I love my ME-50. Don't see myself ever going back to individual pedals again.

    Amp Effects Loop:
    Line 6 MM4 
    Dan Electro Dan Echo
    Mooer Shimverb Pro

    Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi Fuzz
    Ibanez DS10 Distortion
    Saturnworks Headphone Amp Pedal

    I can make so many sounds and this keeps me entertained for hours.  

    Any thoughts on what I might do differently here?

    I like Boss Reverb and Delay but their gain and modulation effects hurt my ears.

    Can't beat the simplicity of that processor though.

    Do you use the booster, compressor and EQ pedals as "always on" or do you switch them on and off for effect? 

    Also, do you put your wah before or after the OD/gain staging pedals? 

    That board looks like a lot of fun to explore.

    Just finished wiring it up yesterday. It's a complex rig, made for a dummy. 

    Analogman Sunface Ge>Analogman Beano Boost>Analogman Comp>Teese RM10>Bypass Looper which had the rest of the chain>>>Mccaffrey Vibe>Whammy V>JHS Muffuletta>King of Tone>Sunface Si>Boss CE2W>EHX Freeze>Dawner Prince Boonar(Echorec)>Chase Bliss Tonal Recall delay w/Faves switch>Turbo Tuner

    New addition to the board was the GigRig power supply system. There's the main box(Generator) under the brace and that branches out to Distributors, then to different components for different power requirements. Pricey, but an amazing product and more flexible than any power supply I've seen. Check out their stuff in YouTube...one of the main guys is on That Pedal Show and he's built some really cool boards.

    Also has an LED strip underneath for a little extra pizzazz.

    EQ always on

    Compressor usually on

    Boost usually off, play with for effect

    fuzz and octaver before wah for that hendrix sound

    wah seems to work best before Overdrive & Distortion

    Yeah, you're right about the Modulation pedal on this - the effects are pretty 'sharp' to the ears. I've compensated by turning the treble dial down on my amp and have found a sweet spot there - without compromising the OD side of the board.

    Yeah, you're right about the Modulation pedal on this - the effects are pretty 'sharp' to the ears. I've compensated by turning the treble dial down on my amp and have found a sweet spot there - without compromising the OD side of the board.
    I've played around with the bass version of that processor. It was a lot of fun and it has what is probably the best layout of any multi-effects unit on the market.

    I totally understand why someone would choose one over a messy, complicated and expensive pedal board.
