Oh come on...hitting a guy who's already down on the ground with a couple guys on top of him???  That's some bush league shit right there.
Dude, my favorite punch in the history of the Yankees was the Strawberry sucker punch to Benitez.  Yeah, probably bush league, but whatever.  He needed a shot.

Hell, technically Joey Bats wasn't ready for his punch, and that was amazing.

    Worthless stats.

6-6 game deep in a pennant race...no way that was intentional.

I really don't think so either, but just an awful situation.  Also, saw a stat today that he has hit exactly 1 right handed batter in his career up until yesterday, which is insane given his control, but is not a good look.

I think it is silly for either side or especially their fans to claim high ground.

It was brawls.  The teams hated each other.  Millionaires showed emotion and caring which is a rare glimpse these days.  Enjoy it.  It was fun.

I agree but evens out with Sanchez only getting 4. I for sure thought he was headed for more. So Sanchez appeals and plays tonight/tomorrow, Romine takes his, yanks pay him for games missed in some way, and they aren't without a catcher at all?

Sounds like they both will appeal. Gonna be without a catcher for at least a game?

I was watching the game, and i don't think it was intentional either. But, under the circumstances, the umps had to toss him.

You are a professional ball player and you pitch for a living.

You have an area of 20" x 20" to throw at.

Mind you this is what you do for a living.

But you are having an off day and miss that 20x20 area by two feet...

    Sure

I'm sure you believe that Clemens accidentally through Piazzas bat AT him...
