Foo Fighters Concrete and Gold preorder

I just got an email from Spotify with a link to preorder the new Foo record from Merchbar.  It looks like a nice package but I've never dealt with Merchbar before, anyone ever dealt with them?  Is it legit???

    Merchbar is legit. I know Ive gotten pre-orders from them before.

    Sweet.  I ordered it.  It's even cheaper than the Foo website preorder for us Canadians.

    I ordered the Merchbar as well. The Amazon vinyl just dropped to under $16 so if you are looking for the cheap route, that is pretty awesome for a double LP.

    The Merchbar limited edition seems the same except it has a limited edition gatefold and is on "audiophile vinyl" as opposed to the regular. Was $25 shipped, but for a double vinyl that's not bad, even if it is $10 more than Amazon. Hope the quality is worth it.

    correct. Both are 2xLP 140g vinyl. The limited edition claims to be pressed on "140g audiophile grade vinyl", which is the difference.

    I don't think they spilled the beans yet.  I read Dave somewhere talking about it being someone he'd never have thought of.  I'm guessing Kesha or Miley Cyrus or Lana Del Ray.  Blech.

    I thought I saw in an interview that, though she's awesome, it's not Adele. If it's a female artist, my guess is Lorde, male Justin Timberlake.

    Ya I believe Adele has been debunked and Macca is a known guest at this point.

    I never thought of Lorde.  Or JT. Whoever it was just sang some backup vocals according to the story I read so it may be hard to pick out if they aren't credited.
