    Huh, I thought the playoffs started last week.  I was cruising into the weekend, positioned to climb back into the playoffs and went fishing in Louisiana, out of coverage.  Logged back in on Sunday when I returned to civilization, saw that Ani came back to come on my back and said 'f it, I'm out of the playoffs'
    Just logged in on the full site so I could actually tell and saw that I had my shit pushed in last week as the last week of the season.  Would not have mattered given how the other teams played.
    Oh well -- no chance to defend my back to back titles and go for the threepeat.  My philosophy stunk this year -- had I made it in I think I could have made a run, but clearly my team wasn't good enough to make it in.

    The last 3 weeks my team started to forget how to hit...

    For my first time I liked it.  I'm looking forward to next year and actually picking players in the draft.  I forgot and came in halfway through it so my pitching was horrendous.

    F Me, thank you. That was about as perfect ending last week as I could have had. I was out of the playoffs by about 3 categories and behind a couple of teams. I was going into the final game of the night still out of it. I managed to steal a couple more offensive categories when Gyorko homered and gave me an extra tied category and another one as a win. Made it in by .02 percentage points. Guys are getting healthy and I get back 2 starting pitchers for the round. Hopefully we can have a run like last season.

    Agree, was a joke trade and would be indefensible at any point as a 'serious' trade.  No trading should be allowed during playoffs.
    Also, I will only replace players who are injured now, and when I do they will be $1 claims.
    This will allow those who are in the playoffs to have first crack at all players out there.
