One of these years I'm gonna make a trip up to the Hall of Fame. That and the Field of Dreams field are my top two baseball bucket list items.

Raines, Pudge, & Bagwell enshrined this year to the greatest company the sport will ever know. And as much of a critic of Bud Selig I am, he certainly did a lot to help expand the sport during his tenure as acting and sitting commissioner.

That said, The Hall is still incomplete without Rose and Bonds.

Nice. One of the guys I work with, his son was in one of those tournaments last year. They both loved it there. Awesome opportunity for your kid to get to play against others from around the country.

5th all-time in stolen bases, 13th in SB%, career .385 OBP. One of the best base runners & defensive outfielders ever. Rickey Henderson is in a league of his own, but Raines might be the best-of-the-rest leadoff hitters of all time. More efficient at getting on base, stealing, and scoring runs than Hall of Fame leadoff men Lou Brock, Craig Biggio, and Paul Molitor. 2600 hits, 1000 runs, 800 steals. Only Henderson, Brock, & Cobb have done that. As a left-fielder, he ranks in the top 25 all-time in games played, fielding %, putouts, assists, & double plays made. He deserves every bit of the HOF.

He's a borderline induction, imo. Would be completely understandable if he was never elected. He was never considered among the best handful of players and that's a bit notch against him imo, but there are less deserving players already in.

Lou Brock had 3000 hits, broke Ty Cobbs SB record and held the single season SB record until Henderson bested that.

Craig Biggio Has 3000 hits, 2nd in HPB(not a crazy record but still cool), 5th all time in Doubles, multi gold glove winner.

Paul Molitor ALSO has 3000 hits AND a lifetime 300 avg, WS MVP.

His first couple of years in the league were monstrous but I still don't see his numbers as Hall worthy. SB's are one of my favorite stats to look at but that doesn't get you in the HOF nowadays.

3000 hits is the clincher which he never got to so he was good just not HOF worthy to me. I also think the writers now are keeping the alleged steroid users out and are a bunch of idiots.

I loved Jim Rice but I don't think he should be in either.

Totally agree on the steroid era players. How Barry Bonds isn't a first-ballot HOFer is just utterly ridiculous.

I've mentioned this before that Barry Bonds was THE BEST hitter I have ever watched play. Arod is number 2 on that list.

Fred McGriff and Canseco are just shy of 500 HR's. Neither of them will ever see the HOF unless they pay admission...

He was speculation. I do remember him playing for the Astros as I had his cards.
