My guess for the Wrigley boots and/or Blu-rays is 8/20 release date. One year from Wrigley 1 last year. That would be in line with the "Summer 2017" update.

We are WAY overdue for Wrigley boots.
I'll say it til I'm Cubby Blue in the face, just give me the damn boots and I'll buy whatever other CD/DVD/BD comes out later. I just want to hear the damn shows I went to!!

And better damn well get both complete shows on CD, not just some mash up of songs from both nights. That's fine for a "movie" but I'll be pissed if both shows aren't available musically.

I don't know how guys are so excited for Wrigley boots when there are about 100 boots over the last few years from the same tour.

I get that people are hyped, but I think you're basically right. Lots of great shows from the past few years.

I used to listen to boots 10 years ago or so when I setup my screenname (bootlegger), but after so many years and shows I don't even listen to boots anymore.

I would much rather have classic (92-96) shows, than anything recent.

How many times does this need to be said?

PEOPLE LIKE TO LISTEN TO THE SHOWS THEY ATTENDED!

I personally had the time of my freakin life at the Wrigley shows last year and I'd like to experience that vibe again. When you get to listen to the shows you attended, you remember being there. You remember interactions with fans around you. You recall the little nuances that listening to some other show just doesn't give. You experience it all over like you're there again.

Why do people feel the need to question or patronize why someone wants a bootleg of a show they attended? This whole "just make a playlist of live songs from other boots" and "just listen to another show" is not only stupid, it's arrogant. Every other show from last year's tour, including the festivals and Fenway, got bootlegs right away. We even got Third Man Records. But still no Wrigley. Excuse me (and the thousands of others) for wanting them!

Sorry for being excited about wanting to listen to the bootlegs of the shows I went to, you guys. I guess I'll go and listen to Portland or something.

If it takes the form of the rest of the 2017 newsletters....
    Mystery sticker sale

Something I thought about... this is probably the last newsletter that the "Lets play two - summer 2017" would apply to.  I don't really consider something released in August to be a summer release.

I would love a mystery sticker sale. I would also love an EV euro mystery poster sale.

More than anything, I just want something fresh and new to be excited about buying.

    Well said.

And I'll add, I'm crossing my fingers that some kind of box set or something comes out for Wrigley and that maybe just maybe they'll include the 2013 show as well. That Wrigley 2013 show was my first PJ show. I've been a fan since Ten, but never made it to a show until Wrigley. You can see what it did to me, because Wrigley 1 and 2 in 2016 were my 7th and 8th PJ shows :)
