is the 2009 quality of official bootlegs not as good as the newer official bootlegs?

    Yeh 09 boots aren't that great compared to other years.

    I don't think so. Brett Eliason wasn't around between 2008-2010, so the bootlegs had a change in sound quality. You can listen to samples at livedownloads.com to check for yourself. From 2011 til now, mostly excellent, aside from the static that hindered a few shows in 2015 and a couple in 2016.

    Yeah the last few years are solid, 2005-2009 is really shit, even 2010 isn't great.  They recently changed to using the soundboard instead of those stupid microphones apprently.

    05 and 06 are just fine.  08 is the worst mix of the Bootleg era.  09 and 10 are an improvement over 08.  Brett was missed that's for sure.
