Greatest live triple-punch beginning?

Stumbled upon the Detroit 2014 show.

Has there been a better triple-punch start of a show this shows:

1. Release
2. Oceans
3. Nothingman

I'm not even the biggest fan of Oceans. But thats a great start of a show.

That Greenville start is what I'd call a triple-"punch" for sure.

I'll add my first show - Pittsburgh '00, 6 rockers right out of the gate.

    1. Even Flow
    2. Hail, Hail
    3. Animal
    and then...
    4. Corduroy
    5. Grievance
    6. In My Tree
before settling into to a slow tempo song.

Not many better than that. I'll always be partial to Wrigley 2013.

    Release
    Nothingman
    Present Tense

    1.Release
    2.Footsteps
    3.Daughter

Pemberton 2016- I mean I was ecstatic if not shocked to get Release on the open but to get Footsteps on the same night never mind at number 2 was incredible. Also just a great first 6(Thumbing, Small Town, Present Tense were 4,5,6). And a great show all around far more than I would have expected for a festival show. Add in a spectacular setting and a severe thunderstorm watch which never materialized and it made for a very
    memorable night.

    That's also a great start.

But Go should have been first. :)

Hands down. Drove 10hours that day to be there and couldn't have been treated any better than that opening. Instant gratification

Agree, that was my first PJ show since 2000. Release as an opener was amazing. Great show from beginning to end.

According to our "weakest link" polls, this one would be a good one (all three songs were in the final four).

They rarely disappoint to start a show. I struggle between the kick ass opening and the slow flow. There are some great set openings on that 2007 tour. They need to release that tour on bootleg.

    Werchter, Belgium '07:
    1. Go
    2. Animal
    3. Brain of J

Another favorite is Wembley from that year:
    1. Long Road
    2. Severed Hand
    3. Grievance
    4. Comatose (yeah it's #4, but wow)

Dusseldorf '07 (Blistering versions of Whipping and Brain):
    1. Sometimes
    2. Whipping
    3. Brain of J

Ah hell, I could go on forever. I love how they open shows :) It's the beginning of everything.
    It's a hopeless situation...
