I don't know why I bought this on blu ray.
Worst acting and worst script. Corny and cringe worthy.

    Were you alive during NWA's heyday?  I'm just wondering if the movie stinks or you just aren't familiar with the group?

    Also Ice Cube's son played him so one bad actor had a son and created another bad actor, which is funny because I'm watching the 30/30 special on the Celtics/Lakers rivalry and it's annoying to hear Ice Cube narrate and try and act tough.

    I found the story progression to be a bit hasty at times, and character development suffered from that.  The story itself I thought was pretty good, just moved too fast.  It really didn't seem like a 3 hour movie.

    The film had it's warts for sure, but overall I liked it quite a bit - I was also a fan back in the day so there's that too.

    hmmm.  I thought it was excellent.  Ice Cube was amazing

    I was alive but was a child, don't remember them back then as I was 4 - 7 years old.
    I like their music yes.
