Big fan of the band - not a big fan of Dave screaming on this one0

whoever is the top left, kinda looks like it might be Boom's older brother or dad.goldrush said:This pic really reminds me of the Beastie Boys' Sounds of Science cover
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -
I don't like the Foos at all, but this song is better than most of the rest of what they do, which isn't saying much. At least it doesn't sound like Nickelback this time, lol.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -

As boring as most stuff they've put out lately."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0

First listen I said the same thing. Why is he screaming. Next few listens I began to love the song minus the screams!buck502000 said:Big fan of the band - not a big fan of Dave screaming on this one0 -

I love Grohl's scream, very raw and not cheesy growly like a metal singer.
That's why I don't like it in this song, the muffling and echo take away the power he's shown in songs like pretender and all my life.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
It's more cheesy, b/c he doesn't have the actual ability to pull it off. A lot of metal singers can do it. Sounds like Grohl is trying to hold on to some imagined metal cred and has very little place in the music he creates.Post edited by DewieCox on0

Totally disagree, but that's music for you, highly subjective.DewieCox said:It's more cheesy, b/c he doesn't have the actual ability to pull it off. A lot of metal singers can do it.
