Clooney has a chance as he is well spoken and seems smart. Married the right women for a career in politics.
Pitt, I don't see him as an extremely smart man to make it in politics. To much Bradjolinia in his resume.
Leo ... good 'ol Leo ... this is a man that is too busy preaching saving the environment and eco-friendly products ... before boarding his private jet in LA to fly to Malta to bang super models for a weekend jaunt that probably cost 50 acres of rain forest carbon credits... absolutely no time for political aspirations, the man has prioritiesBe Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0 -

Jim Ross for Press Secretary (OH MY GOD! OH MY DEAR GOD! LOOK WHAT THE REPUBLICANS HAVE DONE NOW! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY!)
Stephanie McMahon for real POTUS/Steve Bannon

Do I want a president that can save us when a ship goes belly up and whaps the friggin' Golden Gate Bridge as it goes slinky on us?
Hell yeah!

I mean, the Republicans' have elected a movie star and a Reality TV star, so why not? We could actually be closer to the Idiocracy theme with an actual wrestler in Office.. I mean, qualifications don't matter to a lot of 'Muricans, only confidence when speaking. The Rock sure knows how to talk.."It's best to live in grace before you're forced to." EV- 10/09/20140

My guess is that The Rock leans to the right so it may be a whileBe Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0

He wouldn't stand a chance in the GOP primary.
He's just a Hollywood liberal to the Trump base, no matter what he says.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -

Oh FFS. NO! Why is celebrities running to lead nations even a topic of conversation now? It's fucking ludicrous! Oprah, Kanye West, Kevin O'Leary, I heard Will Smith's name thrown out, now The Rock... What is scary to me is that it seems many people think a celebrity running for POTUS is more viable than a person who truly fights for what he believes in for the good of all citizens instead of the good of corporations running for POTUS is. I get the feeling that the majority of Americans would totally bet on The Rock winning over Bernie Sanders, for example. Disturbing.

He could try to deliver the people's elbow or a swift rock bottom to his opposers, but all they'd need is Mr. Socko to combat his executive orders

Well he'd be light years better than Trump anyway....

But I just don't see the Rock being passionate about it. He's passionate about two things: making movies and smiling for the camera.
Americans in politics think that as long as they have a big name that everybody already knows, half the battle is won already. And they are right, to be honest.
I'm so glad that O'Leary didn't come to fruition. I did NOT want Trump Jr as Canada's PM.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0 -
A half-black, half-Samoan who was born in the US, raised in a foreign country and the state of Hawai'i, and carries duel citizenship. Sounds a bit similar to someone else who held office.

Politics are entwined with Hollywood, no? - press, imagery, narcissism. I mean, how many times have these ridiculously-overpriced fundraising dinners been held at the homes of actors, producers, directors, etc.? Presidents on late-night entertainment shows? It goes on...
And there are (or were) already many "celebrities" in the system aside from those mentioned. Al Franken, Fred Johnson, Clint Eastwood, Jerry Fucking Springer.
I care about a candidate's integrity, character, some level of experience / knowledge, and stances on issues I care about.0 -
he could not be at all worse than the current guy.
what a shame that that is the standard now. not as bad as the current guy so we will accept the fact that he wants to run.
