Funny! I forgot The Nanny was on in the 90s.

That Parks and Rec reference was funny, too!

Not a movie, but I was watching the original Beverly Hills 90210 the other night and David's friend in the dorms (a guy who turns out to be a registered sex offender, but he's not a bad guy, hahaha) is a vinyl collector, and Claire was stupidly questioning his loyalty to records, and he talked about how vinyl sounds better, pointing out that Pearl Jam still puts everything on vinyl, and this was proof that it is a superior music format, lol.

I'm watching Sliver on Netflix right now. Sharon Stone was just complaining to her coworker that she wishes she got Pearl Jam tickets instead of Pavoratti.

Season 1, Episode 10 of NBCs failed comedy "Parenthood" from 2010.

One of the main characters has a failing little leauge soccer team. They lose 11-0 in their first game and the parents start to get mad that their kids arent having fun because they aren't winning. Well the next game is set-up to be this fast-paced emotional match with none-other than "Supersonic" playing in the backround.

Took me by suprise that a Backspacer track that isn't "Just Breathe" made it onto a TV show. Hell, that song wasn't even a single!

I couldn't find a video because it seems like NOBODY watched this show, but its on Netflix for all your viewing pleasure around the 29th minute of the show. They play a pretty good abridged version of the song.

I remember watching that episode and being shocked to hear Supersonic.  It was actually a pretty popular show...was on for 6 seasons.

It wasn't a failed comedy. It last 6 seasons. Although the ratings were never really good. It was popular. The reason you can't find the video is because NBC takes them down.
They also played Wishlist and You're True by Eddie

So, do you think that this officially makes PJ the most referenced band in the movies/pop culture in the last 30 years?
I mean, I know you mostly pay attention to what your familiar with and like but I can't recall hearing many similar references involving other bands.

I feel like bands with devoted followings get mentioned all the time in pop culture.. i.e. Phish. DMB, Pearl jam, etc.
